97 Firebird - Modified LS-1 - street/drag - $13000
The car started as a V6 97 Firebird. A 99 formula front clip was added along with every nut, bolt, screw, wire from the 99 formula. This car has been completely redone. It is a street car with full interior.
Engine - Came from a 2000 Z28 now has 20k miles on engine. Heads have been ported and have new Comp 918 springs. Cam is a Comp cam #54-446-11 2400-7200rpms 232/234 duration and .595/.598 lift 112. 43# Injectors, Hooker long tube headers with a custom 3" y-pipe to single 4" all the way out the back and a dynomax bullet race muffler. Walbro Fuel pump.
Tranny - Rebuilt TH350 with valve body kit, TCI-242200 10" 4200 race stall converter. Hurst quarter stick in the factory console.
Rear end - Moser Ford 9" made for f-body, New Ford Trac-loc, Nascar lightened and polished 3.89 gears. Tubular lower control arms, tubular adjustable panhard, Custom Chromoly tubular torque arm, custom chromoly anti-roll. Comp. Engineering rear drag shocks.
Wheels & Tires - Weld Prostar 15x3.5 up front newer tires. 15x8 in back with newer Nitto drag radials 275/60/15s.
Interior - Very clean gray cloth.
Body - Very clean, never seen winters. Totally repainted 3 years ago.
Issues - cam was upgraded from a smaller cam, and since the new tranny and converter went in it has not been retuned. Car runs good but runs very rich. I can retune this when the snow melts, or you can have it done. Gas gauge does not work, not sure why. AC has been removed. Everything else on the car works.
