    fully built 1990 eagle talon--super clean

    As much as it hurts to say it, i think it may be time for me to get rid of my dsm. I just started a new career and previously my dsm was my weekend car, but after selling my daily, my dsm isnt going to cut it anymore for my commute and driving clients around.

    here is a list of parts i thought id never tell anyone about lol...
    BLOCK-
    .20 over fully balanced eagle rods with weisco 9:1 pistons
    ceramic coated skirts
    rod/main bearings also ceramic coated
    balance shafts removed
    all arp engine hardware
    mls head gasket

    HEAD-
    fully ported head with 5 angle valve job by star machining
    1mm over valves
    manley springs w/ titanium retainers
    new viton valve seals
    new 3g lifters
    crower 280 cams
    Kevlar timing belt

    JMF sheet metal intake manifold w/ heat proof gasket from SBR
    all new OEM gasket,oil/water pump,all new timing compontents
    rebuilt CAS
    rebuilt throttle body
    Fluidine big core radaitor
    Setrab external oil cooler with stainless lines

    TURBO-

    FP3065
    Tial 40mm wastegate
    Fully Ported 2g manifold
    3 inch o2 housing and dumptube by devo tuning
    arp turbo to mani bolts
    o-ringed copper gasket from mani to head
    3 inch vibrant exhaust
    4inch intake from FP with big k&n filter
    SBR racing race FMIC with tial BOV

    ECU-
    AEM standalone ecu-
    currently the car is on a very safe/rich tune on 28 lbs on 110 oct, and stock timing, Devin at Strictly modified looked at my tune and said there is a ton of power left in the car with a more agressive tune, the current tune was just a base tune to get me going and for a last minute race I had.

    FUEL-
    walbro 255 pump with re-wire
    -6 an stainless line and fittings from tank to motor and back
    PTE 1000cc injectors
    Aeromotive FPR
    Russels fuel filter

    DRIVELINE

    new jacks racing trans- (after 500 miles the second gear went out and is still out)
    act2600 pressure plate
    act 6puck unsprung race disk
    act lightweight flywheel
    complete bushing kit for cable and base of shifter
    new shift cables
    rebuilt 91 t-case
    new oem driveshaft
    4bolt lsd rear end
    2g big brake upgrade

    MISC-
    KYB AGS struts with eibach sportlines
    full bushing kit
    60mm greddy boost gauge
    60mm greddy egt gauge
    Carbon fiber hood
    AEM wideband
    HKS turbo timer
    Hallman pro boost controller
    complete 91 wiring conversion
    orignal no a/c no ABS from the factory
    All sound deadening material removed
    Small race battery mounted low on the firewall
    THe alternator is re-located to the back to make clearance for future
    upgrades


    The car is exceptionally clean for the year, one of the cleanest 1g's I have ever seen, pictures would not do this car justice, but there will be some up shortly. There is no rust, orignal paint is in great shape except there is some fading on the left headlight and the roof. Nothing that a buff couldnt take car of. There are currently some 17 inch wheels on the car that i had to put on after I sold my rota's

    /\That is the video of how i bought the car, i removed the cage, added the 3in. o2 housing, AEM standalone, and turned up the boost. The previous owner ran a 11.4 @ 130 on 25 lbs and launching like a grandma.... The car is now on 28 lbs. The car is easlily a 10 second car on the current turbo. Although I have never made a full pass at the track with my car, on dr's I was cutting 1.5-1.6 60ft's all day long

    The only bad with the car is that it is going to need a trans re-build for the second gear- Adam at devo quoted me $800 for everything

    I bought this car with 500 miles on the whole car rebuild, the I put another 500 on it this summer. The odometer reads 133,XXX....So there is only 1000 miles on this whole build, it made 1 trip to the track and 5 street races this summer THATS IT!!

    I love this car so much and i hate to see it go, i hope to sell it to a chitowndsm guy so i can see the car around the area.

    This car has an amazing interior, the carpet is cut from where the cage was, but other than that the interior is amazing like almost new.

    Like I said, pictures dont do this car justice, but i will be putting some up by this weekend.

    I have $17,000 invested into this car and I know that I will never get anything close to that back from it. But I do need $8500 obo from it, as i need to buy another car to get to work and back. I am open to trades, or trades + cash. Let me know what you have

    Greg from pworks can vouch for how clean and fast the car is along with devin and cisco from strictly modified, boostjunkie knows this car well also

    You added a $400 O2 housing and a $1500 Standalone. You bought a mid 11 second car for $15,000?? Where do I sign up to sell mine for this kinda money?

    What did you add to the car to the tune of $7000? We can't see that streetfire video since the link is bad. I guess we were curious as to the cars performance. You said it went 130mph when you bought it. What does it trap now?

    i assume it doesnt go past 2nd gear? or it isnt gonna do too good since you gotta skip 2nd gear.....

    i dont know what it trapped after i put all the money into it....I CANT GET INTO SECOND GEAR....I put in and AEM standalone, new o2 housing/dumptube...a carabou seat, carbon fiber hood, new oil filter housing, re-located the alternator to the back of the motor, new battery...and other little things, if youre not intrested in the car then stop posting...
