Baddest Grand National EVER
This car is out of North Carolina. Guy in charge of the build is Jay Carter, kind of a Buick legend from back in the day. The shop that put the car together is Big Wood Racing. It is setup to run a TT big block later down the road, but they are shooting for the quickets V6 ever first.
They are shooting for low 4's in the 1/8th and mid 6's in the 1/4. It is an alchohol motor, so no intercooler. It uses 550# injectors, each injector gets a -6 fuel line. The car weighs just under 2100# with driver and fluids.

Here is video of the first track outing. This was the first 1/8th mile pass after doing a couple hole shots first. Evidentally some air got behind the drivers door! Watch close in the vid. Thing looked like it was on a PASS though, too bad the door came off.

You can hear the car spinning. The 60ft was only a 1.29 and the 330 was a 3.32Last edited by DCVING 6; 11-10-2008 at 03:35 PM.
